Application to register
Due to a limited number of participants at the venue, an application is required.
The application for the summer school and the master class in 2026 is possible until June 15th, 2026 . For the application, a brief motivation outlining your interest in attending the summer school is requested.
Accomodation
The venue provides several double rooms and only a small number of single rooms. In order to maximize the number of participants who can be accommodated, applicants are requested to indicate the name of another applicant of the same gender, with whom they could potentially share a double room.
Food requirements
Special dietary requirements (halal, vegetarian, vegan, allergies) can be arranged for participants who indicate these preferences during the application process.
Selection process
A selection process is applied, if the number of applications exceeds the capacity of attendees. The selection criteria are:- Progress of the PhD: Participants in the first year of their PhD are prefered
- Motivation letter: Reflection of the knowledge of plasmas, Intention to partictipate in the school
A confirmation of the participartion will be send to all accepted applicants after revising all received applications, shortly after the application deadline.
Participation fees
The participation fees comprise the accomodation and full-board catering during the respected acitivites.
Fees 2026:
- International School on Low Temperature Plasma Physics: 600 €
- Master Class: 300 €
- International School & Master Class: 900 €
Accepted participants will receive an email with further payment information.
Important notes:
- The respective amount is to be paid in advance by bank transfer (no cash acceptible).
- No scholarships (including reduced registration fees or coverage of travel expenses) are offered. For general scholarships, please visit DAAD.
